Spring Changes?

Well, it’s Spring today. We still have 3 feet of snow, it was 7 degrees and wind blowing when I got up at 4am. Didn’t I just say it’s spring today? I love Wisconsin.

Canceling the armistice,  is this unexpected? I’ve been pondering the intentions of North Korea over the last couple weeks and wanted to write but unexpected events took precedence. Am I surprised by this announcement? No.  North Korea has been looking for an excuse to flex it’s muscles while the world has been smirking at the little schmuck.

What a bumpy second month of the year. What got off as a relatively quiet start got pretty rocky in the second month. Earthquakes, political, religious and meteoric events happening all at once, or at least over the next month and a half.

Today we’re supposed to have a close flyby of an asteroid. It’ll be close, but no cigar. No Apocalyptic dash into the ocean as depicted in Revelation 8:10-11, we’re safe. But wait! This morning a meteorite crashed over Russia in an affect like the movie “Deep Impact” roaring across with sonic booms blowing out windows and collapsing buildings. And some fragments fell in the reservoir like the campy Asylum Films movie, ” Apocalypse”  where the water got poisoned. Hmm, better check the water. Could the asteroid take a left turn?

World Nuclear Holocaust Coming?

Today is December 7. Remembering, and never forgetting, that day that lives in infamy, when, in America, where it was safe to go outside, that very notion was challenged. “Just when you thought it was safe to go outside”……I always liked that line. It immediately appeals to the senses, brings an ominous ode, brings fear, trepidation. It could be huge, an unprecedented event suddenly, or simply a big hairy spider decided to put a web across the door frame. So it goes…

Removing the fuel rods at Bushehr

I was just reading at DEBKA files that the nuclear reactor at Bushehr in Iran had to be shut down in mid-October for fear of an explosion. And we’re just hearing abut this now?? Apparently, some bolts were laying on the bottom of the reactor tank under the rods. I guess this isn’t a good thing. My guess is that they heat up, boil the water and boom. Regardless, the accusation that the bolts came from the fuel rods was met with a strong, “not my fault” from the Russians who supplied the rods. They are looking at two possible scenarios. The first, deliberate sabotage (duh) or the fact that the Stuxnet virus got into the computers and tampered with the reactor’s computers. How does a reactor computer unscrew bolts and throw them in a reactor vessel? (DOH!) And then last but not least they haven’t ruled out an accident or “incompetence”. Then, added to this specter, there is the announcement of health issues around their nuclear sites.  Makes you feel warm and fuzzy, well the warm part.

It’s Closer Than You Think

More rockets come into Israel

As the Hamas fires more rockets into Israel with only one thought, kill or maim as many Jews as possible with random shots, my thoughts are drawn to Israel and where are we right now, Haaretz . We’re still caught up in our own little world while Israel remains the epicenter of time.

Here in the US we have two candidates who really can’t decide what the future holds. They touch on the party lines looking for the emotional votes, while ignoring what we know are the impossible topics. Both are banking that things continue to be worse for the rest of the world than for us so that our economy still “appears” better than the rest, full knowing that an ill wind will crash the whole thing. Even worse is that both candidates won’t give an unequivocal support for Israel, and that is dangerous. Is America headed for a cliff?

War games or precursor to prophecy?

I’ve just become aware that Russia, Iran, Syria, and China are going to be engaging in joint war games in the Middle East “soon” according to Iranian media. Debka file is also reporting this as is Haaretz. The timing of this in relation to Iran’s threat to break off nuclear talks is particularly poignant.

The players in this game are ominous. I’ve written before about the appearance of Gog and the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38&39. Iran is nuking up while we speak and waste time and Syria continues to thumb it’s nose at world peace. But China, in an axis with Russia, a shuddering thought. It brings to mind Rev 9:14-19

“It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number.

17 The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19 The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury. “

So, what does this mean? So what? The scripture mentions the 4 angels bound at the Euphrates, it brings up an army of 200 million, long held as the Chinese army ( while many chuckled behind your back saying “ya, right”) but now quite capable. These forces will kill a third of mankind. It’s no secret the thoughts and impressions that Barack Obama is intent on destroying the US and as such there is no US in the Bible. It’s also been becoming apparent that China is intent on taking the US ( in that event they’ll take Canada also, keep building that pipeline for them Canada). Joel Rosenberg’s new book Implosion brings us to the edge and beyond of world financial disaster. (Please note, I’m making no attempt to create a Biblical timeline.)

So is this a precursor? I believe so. The events of men happen because of men, who don’t even know or understand their place in God’s plan. For those in Christ this should be an exciting time, a time to get off your proverbial butts and get going in the Lord’s work about you. It’s time to get uncomfortable, because, frankly, you do it willingly now, or get hit unprepared later. The weather events should be enough for you to start listening to the words given by the prophets of old and the prophets of today’s outpouring, try it, test it but begin preparing. Even these God ordained “unnatural” weather events should be enough to have you preparing for shortages and lack. Pray what God would have you do, and then DO IT. It’s time to trust God now, not our past.
