What a year on the political circus wagon, so far the worst in American history, that is really heading down the tube. Recently one candidate accused the POTUS of paying a huge ransom for four American hostages held by Iran, $400 million, that amounts to $100 million each. That tops, presumably, releasing 5 terrorists for one military deserter. WOW!
It’s obvious, I love music. I live and breath music and the more that I can offer up in God’s service the sweeter it is and the more connected I feel. But today’s music has been getting soft, nice, unoffending. Don’t get me wrong, I like the music, but in a lot of cases there is no strength to it, no relational connection to Christ, kind of like music you could safely hear on secular radio, or love songs you could sing to your sweetheart. Much of the music has lost the edge, the edge of the sword.
Is this what’s happening, Continue reading
I can’t believe the significant increase in traffic over a post I made almost two years ago. The sting and conviction must be increasing and in effect validate the post of the Watchman. The posting, “Roaring on the inside“, was intended to sound a concern with personnel changes with the Newsboys and maybe a little drifting into the Grand Delusion. That discussions that have developed always entered into two schools of thought. One supporting the concern over the possibly veiled acceptance of perverting the scripture or the other supporting such creative license to do what ever with the scripture. The latter always come up with straw man arguments to support the cause but lack scriptural base themselves. The detractors typically come up with, “God Roars”, “Jesus is the Lion of Judah”, “C.S. Lewis has Jesus as Aztlan the lion roaring”, ad nauseam .
Though no retraction ever came out of it I believe the conviction was there on the part of the music team Continue reading
Ok. So I’ve been busy, too busy with the farm and I’ve been neglecting everyone while something insidious has been going on and I am so sorry for that. The recent “slim down” in federal finance has only been to “hit ’em where it hurts” against middle of the road voters. That’s pretty obvious to anyone with two eyes and a brain. Closing national parks, war memorials, anything dear to the public ( I’ve been made aware that BO’s favorite golf course is still open) to set rage against those who are trying to reel in this run away government.
A lot of to do has been and is being made about the AR15, so what’s up? The disarmers are trying their best to strike fear and loathing for the weapon. Or, as in the recent shootings at the Naval base, Feinstein referred to it as the weapon of choice. But, oh wait, the shooter didn’t have an AR15, just a shotgun and two pistols. So where did the AR15 come from? Oh, he had one in his hands the week before, but not this week. OOOOPS! Guilt by association.
So what happened? Continue reading
Canceling the armistice, is this unexpected? I’ve been pondering the intentions of North Korea over the last couple weeks and wanted to write but unexpected events took precedence. Am I surprised by this announcement? No. North Korea has been looking for an excuse to flex it’s muscles while the world has been smirking at the little schmuck. Continue reading
So where are we? There’s going to be an inauguration in a couple days. Apparently not many feel inclined to show up even though more money is going to be spent. He got re-elected but not many seem to excited, go figure. Perhaps it’s this ever growing despotism, perhaps it’s just mid-winter blues.
Perhaps it’s the false flag that happened in December, that we’d been predicting. Many are still livid at the suggestion that the Sandy Hook “tragedy” is a hoax, a false flag but the growing evidence, the continuing pining in the press about the need for gun control to avert another tragedy, begins to show otherwise. Hide behind the children like a good terrorist. Obama’s own words point to the need to create something extraordinary, shock the nation. When discussing pushing his agenda,
“The president acknowledged his proposals won’t be easy to pass. “This will be difficult,” he said. “This will not happen unless the American people demand it.”
The new effort to pass gun control legislation was spearheaded by Vice President Joe Biden, who chaired a committee put together by the president in the days following the Dec. 14, Newtown shooting.” ( Foxnews )
And so he created public demand…maybe. Continue reading
