I posted, previously, my concerns over the song God’s not dead and the roaring like a lion part. It’s a great song without the roaring, and so, for the sake of the kids, I modified the lyrics to remove the Satan imagery and replaced it with an omnipresent God, which He is….

I actually, took the time to tell them what I did. They now have an explanation up claiming Hosea 11:10 but not in context with the whole prophecy.

When you say you took the time to tell them. Do you mean the Newsboys? I am working the best I can and trying to get back to the blog world. I think it will happen. My wife and son are doing well now. Stephanie got a little shook up when Junior got circumcised yesterday. I wrote a blog about that situation and the war on circumcision. I have learned so much in the last days about that topic it has boggled my mind.

Where’d you have Junior circumcised? I’m not surprised she was shook. Anytime when our little ones get cut, poked, scraped with blood showing gets to you for a while. As he grows, you’ll get more parenting instinct to go with that protect mode.

We wanted to go with a moyle originally but could not afford it. I know this pediatrician from the local Tea Party that could do circumcision so we made an appointment with him. He is a nice guy but he is still a doctor. The doctor and I can have wonderful intelligent conversations that remain civil but we do not agree with each other on everything. Especially on topics such as vaccines. However we still respect each other at the end of the day. He plans to retire once Obamacare goes into full effect. He hates limited health care. I am quite tickled to hear you let the newsboys know. Thank you so much for standing up for the truth. Let me know if you get a response back from them about it.

There are many times, even recently, where the Lord will ask me to attend a different assembly one morning, to hear a song, and show me that his worship leaders need instruction, so I wasn’t too “frightened” when I was convicted about this song this morning, finding your blog. However, like the newsboys and the reference to Hosea, the Lord brought full understanding. The Devil roars “like” a lion, yet God roars. What does the devil always do? Deceive. And how does he deceive? Looking like something, someone else. God does roar. He made a lion, for a lion is part of him. The Devil only, can roar “like” a lion. So I do diligience, looked up the direct Hebrew translation: ( after the lord will walk, a lion will roar, indeed he will roar , will come and sons from the west ). So, first thing that happens, the Lord God walks…then he roars, then come the sons from the west. When a lion is telling his/her children they are moving, what he / she does is start walking, right? Then what, he / she roars, so that the children scattered will come back. So yes, he is Living On the Inside, Roaring AS ( equal to ) a lion. The conviction within, calls us home, the beginnings of revival within us. Now, why does the Devil roar “like” a lion, same reason, to call people to him that haven’t been paying attention to know the “true lion/lioness” roar. Lions roar often when the child lions are young, why, so that they might know God’s voice. I remember telling the Lord jokes as a child, at the end of my day. I don’t know if we joke now, but because I got familiar with him as a child, even before the holy Spirit indwelling through repentence and acceptance of Lordship, I recognize the voice clearly now, running and repenting back to him. Lions also roar, when, capturing prey or notifiying of hurt animals, wounded, vulnerable. They don’t know who is strong, because they can’t capture the strong if they are the devil. They devil can only go after the weak, so by roaring, he separates the weak from the strong… Both roar, God and the devil, but since the Lord proclaimed this his sheep “hear/understand” his voice, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.…” However, we pray why and for whom…those who don’t know scripture, don’t know fully God’s voice, because then what happens, “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” No one would survive… God is out to destroy everything, that is impure, by fire, and he is going to use the devil to do it, except for those he predestined, predetermined to be the elect. The ones who will survive will survive only because God chose them to survive, not because “they chose to follow Jesus”. Remember, the lion walks ( First ), then roars to call. God chooses, the elect, then there is saving grace. The Holy Spirit has made it clear to me early one thing I can test him with, desertion. If I want to see if I can survive on my own, no problem. He will allow it. If I think that it was “Me” who chose God first, so be it, go see how that works out for me. He will not stop me. He will call out to me, but he WILL NOT stop me from doing it, he is most certain. He will not violate choice… However, as part of the elect, he will bring me back, that I may not perish because of God’s chosen purpose, not my own self-righteousness. I too, for this day, am not being biased, but speaking full truth, knowing I am the cheif of all sinners. God has given me so much that I have squandered without replacement, it’s ridiculous, so that others may see, if God is willing to not give up on Colby, he will not give up on you. He chose you for a purpose, as he did Colby also, so keep on going. Nothing is impossible FOR gods

Ya know, you were doing okay ( I could work around the God roaring ) until you got into the predestination OSAS garbage. Then I can key in that you have no sense or empowerment of the Holy Spirit to rightly separate truth from fiction.
