Plan’s for Failure

The Word of the Lord that came to me this morning.

Why do you seek me? Why do you ask why? Are you lost? Have you wandered? I have not moved, I have not changed yet you ask as though I have. You were warned, yes, I spoke directly of choices for your nation, yet few listened. Now you are at the edge of the abyss, at the very brink and you wonder. Your leaders are powerless. Have you prayed, have you sought my face, have you petitioned on behalf of your leaders? I tell you now, do so. Pray MY will, My plan, My direction for your leaders, your government, your future. The stone is set, the plans of men will fail. You are seeing just the beginning with seemingly no end in sight. The ways of men are corrupt and will be the judgment on them, the way of their failure, a point of no return.

But you, I have a place for. Those that seek my face and follow my direction will be covered. My ways are not man’s ways. What may seem strange and unusual, is. I am calling you to do unusual things. This will be a year of exploits, in My name. I will strengthen and impart to you. You need to come closer, closer to me than ever before. The enemy seeks to devour you all, his time is short and his fury rages. But I am, I am and in Me , only is protection. Abide in me and go as I direct, my people, who are called by my name will prosper in what they do, as I will direct. As things fall apart around you, remember it is I who holds the key, who holds all things evident. Take heart, be encouraged, follow closely to Me.

I was dwelling on the impending “economic cliff” and all the posturing and finger-pointing where not once has anyone taken up accountability for the mess in the first place. Like children with a loaded gun. We need to pray for them as God directs, what ever it appears, good or bad. I’m reminded of

1 Peter 2:13-17

New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

Submission to Rulers and Masters

“13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 16 Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17 Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.”

Knowing that God is in control and that He is bringing judgment on the land we can with freedom pray for the leaders, God’s will and plan, and leave the punishment in God’s hands. Our job is to reach as many for Christ as the remaining time allows. God will lead us and protect us, giving us confidence when strength seems to be waning.

I'm a musician and worship leader, intent on following wherever God leads and directs me, with His leading's in the Spirit and others bonking me on the head ( hopefully not much of the latter). My life experiences are in blue collar and white collar (engineering) employment, political office, lay ministries, national competition in track and cross country and most importantly marriage and raising a family. God has given me a unique set of skills and character to serve Him and a passion for doing it.

  1. Thanks Dan for sharing the confirming word. The same Holy Spirit speaks to us all… all who will listen to Him anyway.

    I have had much conviction and confirmation to diligently pray for our leaders. That scripture written in Peter was when they were under Roman occupation. How much more so we should pray for the leaders that God chooses and that His will be done.

    Paul also spoke this word while under Roman occupation about praying for leaders, it is for our own good:

    1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;
    1Ti 2:2 For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
    1Ti 2:3 For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

    The Lord spoke a clear word to me a couple years ago. It was not His still small voice but rather He spoke to me in a clear voice, although I was in a half sleep, half waking state, I heard him like he was in the room having a conversation with me. He said: “Only those abiding in me will survive.”

    I prayed about this very word just this morning! Not a coincidence that I see your word.

    Here are the scriptures for the word:

    Jhn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
    Jhn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
    Jhn 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.
    Jhn 15:7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

    Those who will not abide in Jesus as the darkness descends and Gods judgment falls will not be able to survive it. But those who will abide in Jesus will THRIVE!!

    The church is in deep trouble brother. Deep trouble!

    • Thank you for that Sarah,

      I’ve been under conviction that last couple of days about losing some of the closeness with God. We’ve been a little caught up here about getting a farm, as we’ve felt God leading us to do, that we’ve started to get a little too focused on how to get God’s plan done instead of drawing close and listening. Not unlike the last Word that Glynda posted the enemy has managed to weasel his way in and distract us.

      Time to get back on track, the time is short, and yes, the church appears to be in deep do do.

      Something that was in the news that I’ll write about later is the direction we warned about decades ago. Apparently the mental health industry (quackery, scam, whatever) has decided to remove the transsexual as a mental illness due to the stigma associated with it. There ya go, where there is no law there is no transgression. And Pedophilia will be soon to follow.

      God bless you Sarah,

  2. Wow! Having read the message and your thoughts about the situation, I feel like a son of Caleb listening to the rest of the spies. I thank my heavenly father you were not around 237 years ago. We might not have had this once great nation to lose. How many would not have heard the Word of God If our forefathers had not stood up against England’s rule? God is a soverign, unchanging god. What you are saying is we have been wrong since 1776?

  3. Yes God is unchanging, but we are not spying out the land as Caleb. We had possession already, by fighting for it and honoring God. The more likely, pay attention, is 1963, 1971, 1973, even 2011.

    Prayer is removed from schools in 1963, homosexuality is made normal in 1973 (to remove the stigma), wholesale slaughter of innocents through abortion offering them up to Molech, and if you missed the above post, now transsexualism is now longer a mental illness, it’s God’s mistake, a direction is set for a collision course with fate without God. Yes, God is sovereign and the US has crossed the Rubicon and God has let this country fall into it’s own judgment. Not unlike the days of Josiah the king, who humbled himself before God and caused the people to do the same, yet the sins that preceded him were too much and the nation was judged and over run, carting the Israelites away. And mind you, that the US is not Israel, not secured by an everlasting covenant, and not given to the cause of Caleb.

    It’s in the Bible, you might want to check it out. The reason that the US is NOT in the Bible.

    • You make some very valid points. I am not too sure the US is not in the Bible. Between Daniel and Revelation and Maybe Jerimiah there are about 21 descriptions of Babylon. There are a lot of nations and a religion or two that fit some of them, but we are the only nation that fits all of them. We are the only nation that if we were destroyed that the merchents of the world would mourn. We are indeed coming under judgement. God’s judgements are true and righteous. I pray that somehow our father would keep us seperate, but it is written; Come out of her my children that you might not partake in her judgements. We are not Israel, you are right. I can see the difference now. However we are grafted into the branch and as one down to the root having been saved. But all evil needs to flourish is for good men to do nothing. I thank you for your in depth answer, and apologize if I sounded rude. I just can’t think of one time in history —- OK, two times in history that alowing oneself and teaching others to be led to the slaughter ever made the world a better place. I for one will not relinquish my right to protect my family’s or my own life or home. But I will agree not to help you if I see you being atacked or beaten. That’s working so well in all the other nations.
      Peace be with you,

      • Oh, don’t get me wrong. The Word, however painful it may sound, is to pray for the leaders, God’s will, etc. Even their salvation, but the warning still stands that the end is coming. Yes, we will have to defend from within our own borders, store up provisions if God leads you and recognize the point of obedience to God when obedience to the authorities would lead you into sin. There are limits to the 1 Peter reference. The biggest would be in not worshiping the image of the beast. The church will be driven under ground and the Constitution torn up and burned. It will not be a pretty sight.

        I’m trying to get a small arsenal together myself, to use in my hands or our local group as I believe we have some tenuous times ahead. I have to (ahem) protect our beef cattle…
