Peres: New United Religions

godsfingers:

How subtle and under the radar these things continue. I pray your eyes are open, keeping watchful, keeping peace and wholly seeking Christ. As we see things seemingly going down the tubes don’t forget you still have to live till He comes. This I say, PREPARE for the worst, PLAN for the best.

Former Israeli President Shimon Peres has said that Pope Francis is more powerful than the United Nation when it comes to advocating peace.

While visiting the Vatican earlier today, Mr Peres asked Pope Francis to head a parallel United Nations called the “United Religions” to counter religious extremism in the world today.

Peres said the United Nations and its peacekeepers “do not have the force or the effectiveness of any one of the Pope’s homilies, which can draw half a million people just in St Peter’s Square alone.”

“So given that the United Nations has run its course, what we need is an organisation of United Religions,” Mr Peres said, as “the best…

Massive betrayal

godsfingers:

The new ecumenical movement is is truly moving toward the church of the anti-Christ. Islam, chrislam, emerging church, converging church and on, they drop the Word of God to join the get-along-gang. The wolves are everywhere.

Pope Francis became the first pope to make an official visit to a Pentecostal church, after he flew on Monday to speak at the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation in the southern city of Caserta, Italy.

The pontiff apologized for persecution of Pentecostals the Roman Catholic Church was involved with in the past, and reached out with friendship to evangelicals.

Get On Your Knees and Fight Like a Man!

http://cccmurphysboro.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/praying-israelite.jpg?w=275&h=265It’s obvious, I love music. I live and breath music and the more that I can offer up in God’s service the sweeter it is and the more connected I feel. But today’s music has been getting soft, nice, unoffending. Don’t get me wrong, I like the music, but in a lot of cases there is no strength to it, no relational connection to Christ, kind of like music you could safely hear on secular radio, or love songs you could sing to your sweetheart. Much of the music has lost the edge, the edge of the sword.

Is this what’s happening, Continue reading

Get Jesus outa here! WHAT? Where’s America heading?

godsfingers:

More and more occasions are coming, even more lame than ever of trying to quash any mention of God or His Christ. In this present push of “tolerance” ( don’t get me going on that) the fact that we are offended by those “offended” and what they impose on us is totally ignored. They, in their various groups, can heap hate language on us yet are allowed to tie us up in court on some twisted interpretation of a verb or noun. I thought I would bring up again just what religion is and the impossibility of removing it. When I wrote this, only two years ago,  I hadn’t imagined the lengths of the persecution and containment of Christians that would sweep this land.

What’s this country coming to and even more so, what’s up with North Carolina? The state, with the city of Chapel Hill, has gotten into more than it’s share of anti-Christian junk and now this comes out, where chaplains have to steer clear of Jesus. Pastor Terry Sartain, a police chaplain, is told by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept he can’t invoke the name of Jesus when he prays at public ceremonies. When he asks what he should pray, then, he’s told to pray something secular.

STOP

A while back when this secular movement was gaining traction and the words religion and religious kept being tossed about I got to thinking about those words. You’d hear statements of he/she did that religiously, a scientist/researcher did his work religiously so I did an English dictionary look up. To say someone got religion because he came to know the Christ Jesus has been…

Killing fields

godsfingers:

A week ago another shooting rampage. A planned attack with plenty signs that it was imminent yet they were ignored. Then the screaming, grieving father of a victim saying it has to stop, pass laws to make it stop. Would he have grieved less if the guy would have driven a car into his daughter? Used a knife, baseball bat, pipe bomb? As this generation continues to call bad good and good bad the lawlessness increases as Hell unleashes it’s evil on the world.

norway killer

21 years for killing 77 people, ” I wished I’d killed more”, he says.

This morning I wake up to the headline of a developing story of. ” 3 dead including gunman in New Jersey” . Then there’s the Empire State Building killings, more shootings in Pennsylvania, Temple killings in Wisconsin, Colorado killings and this guy above.  Even a shooting at the Christian organization, Family Research Council. What’s up? Wholesale slaughter is ramping up. It doesn’t SEEM to be, it IS. Gun control won’t stop it.

If I Were the Devil

As I look back I miss some of the people, Paul Harveywho if empowered, could have kept this country great. For now, after their passing, all we can do is revisit and ponder their wisdom and almost prophetic calling. One such man was Paul Harvey. I’d listen with regularity his wit and wisdom and undying admiration for his love, Angel. The following should be almost scary or worse, given he saw this coming and no one knew or cared Continue reading

But I’m Alive, Really I Am!

Poor Laura Brooks. She’s sorry, she didn’t know. It wasn’t until overdue noticeshttp://www.batteredsheep.com/graphics/rip.jpg started coming, loans defaulted and her cards wouldn’t work that she finally found out she was dead. How rude, no one had the decency to let her know. The same with Leona Turner whose husband had died and while she was trying to show up for a doctor’s appointment the dumbfounded receptionist declared, ” Well, she’s standing here in front of me…”. Judy Rivers was even picked up by the police for trying to attempt a transaction while being dead.

Harry’s checks started bouncing he found out with very irate phones calls Continue reading
